App Version Differences
The process for checking continuity depends on your IGNITE app version. Refer to the table below:
| App Version | Continuity Check Method |
| Older than 6.24 (Android) or 14.37 (iOS) | Automatic – Continuity is checked and updated automatically. |
| 6.24+ (Android) / 14.37+ (iOS) | Manual – Users must manually tap "Check Igniters" for an updated status. |
Checking Continuity from the Modules Screen
Step 1: Open the Modules screen.
Open the IGNITE App and tap Modules.
Step 2: Tap the Check Igniters button.
Locate and tap the Check Igniters button in the lower-left corner of the screen.
Step 3: Review the Safety Warning
After tapping the Check Igniters button, a safety warning will appear. After reviewing and following the safety precautions, tap Check Igniters to proceed.
Step 4: Wait for the Continuity Check to complete.
The app will take a few moments to update continuity status.
Step 5: View continuity results.
The continuity status of all modules will now be displayed. Cues with continuity will appear in green.
Checking Continuity from the Shows Screen
Step 1: Open the IGNITE App and tap Shows.
Step 2: Select your show.
Locate the show you want to prep and tap Prep Show.
Step 3: Tap the Check Igniters button.
Locate and tap the Check Igniters button in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Step 4: Review the Safety Warning
After tapping the Check Igniters button, a safety warning will appear. After reviewing and following the safety precautions, tap Check Igniters to proceed.
Step 5: Wait for the Continuity Check to complete.
The app will take a few moments to update continuity status.
Step 6: Review cue continuity.
Cues with continuity will appear in green if they are in the show, or in yellow if they have continuity but are not in the show. Cues that are in the show, but are not showing continuity will display in red, and cues without continuity which are not in the show will display in grey.
Checking Continuity from the Free-Shoot Screen
Step 1: Open the IGNITE App and tap Free-Shoot.
Step 2: Tap the Check Igniters button.
Locate and tap the Check Igniters button in the lower-left corner of the screen.
Step 3: Review the Safety Warning
After tapping the Check Igniters button, a safety warning will appear. After reviewing and following the safety precautions, tap Check Igniters to proceed.
Step 4: Wait for the Continuity Check to complete.
The app will take a few moments to update continuity status.
Step 5: View continuity results.
The continuity status of all modules will now be displayed. Cues with continuity will appear in green.
Troubleshooting Continuity Issues
If you experience issues with continuity not displaying correctly, try the following:
- Ensure igniters are properly connected to the module.
- Reattempt the continuity check after waiting a few moments.
- Verify that your module is powered on and properly paired with the app.
