The IGNITE App supports both automated and manual firing. To fire an automated show, you’ll need a show created in IGNITE Show Designer. You can either use one you’ve built yourself or import a show code that someone shared with you. Follow these steps to start your automated show.
For details on creating a show, see How to Create a Show in Show Designer.
Step 1: Open the Shows list
Open the IGNITE App and tap Shows.
Step 2: Select your show
On the Shows screen, scroll or search to find the show you want to fire, then tap it. The app will display which colored modules are required for that show.
If you’re using a shared show, see How to Import a Show into the IGNITE App.
Step 3: Prep your show
After selecting your show, open the Prep Show screen to confirm all igniters are connected correctly. For details, see How to Prep Your Show.
Step 4: Fire your show
When your show is ready, exit Prep Show and tap Fire Show. Read any pop-up messages carefully and follow the instructions if they apply.
Step 5: Start the show
Make sure each module shows Waiting to Fire. Once confirmed, tap Start Show.
If not all modules are ready, you’ll see a warning. You can fix the issue or continue without those modules—helpful for testing show timing.
Step 6: Choose out-of-range behavior
Decide whether the show should stop or continue firing if your mobile device loses Bluetooth connection. For details, see Will My Show Fire if I’m Out of Bluetooth Range? Then tap Fire My Show.
Step 7: Wait for modules to check in
After tapping Fire My Show, the app checks and prepares your modules. This process takes a few seconds, and your show will begin automatically once all modules are ready.
Step 8: Enjoy your show
Your show will now fire automatically. You can follow along in the app using the waveform view, or switch to list view for a detailed cue-by-cue display.

To manually trigger cues during your automated show, see How to Manually Trigger Cues During an Automated Show. After your show, you can clear fired cues by resetting your firing memory. See How to Reset Firing Memory in Free-Shoot.
For details on importing shows, see How to Import a Show into the IGNITE App. To learn more about manual firing, check out How to Use IGNITE Free-Shoot.
