To maintain your IGNITE Limited Lifetime Warranty and to help keep your modules in top shape for longer we recommend following the below module maintenance best practices.
Disconnect batteries before storing your modules. For more guidance, see IGNITE Lipo Batteries Best Practices and Procedures.
Check connector wires on both the battery and the module to make sure nothing is loose or damaged.
Check each power button to make sure it isn’t sticking and bounces back after release.
Check the color indicator light illuminates when turning the unit on and firing cues.
Inspect the antenna connector for corrosion or damage. Make sure it screws on smoothly and doesn’t rotate freely.
Test the battery door to ensure it snaps closed securely, and opens smoothly.
Store modules in a dry, climate-controlled space. Avoid garages or sheds unless they are insulated and temperature-controlled.
Check system signal by following the steps in our article How to Test Your Module Signal Strength to confirm that modules are working as expected and that antennas do not need to be replaced.
Clean your modules with a slightly damp cloth to remove any debris or residue from your pyro effects before storing them.
