Updating the Firmware on Your IGNITE i18 and i36 Modules

The firmware on your IGNITE i18 or i36 module can easily be updated using your smartphone or tablet. Follow the below steps to update your device firmware.

Step 1: Open the IGNITE App and go to Modules.

If a connected module needs an update you'll see the following prompt:


   

Step 2: Locate the module requiring the upgrade.

If a firmware upgrade is available, it will be displayed on that specific module.

Step 3: Confirm that there are no igniters or products connected to the module.

Once you have confirmed nothing is currently connected to the module, it is safe to tap Start Firmware Update.

Step 4: Install the update.

Your module will now begin the update process. Please do not power off your module or close the IGNITE App.

Step 5: Complete the update.

Once the module finishes installing the update, the IGNITE app will prompt you to reboot the module.

6. Confirm a successful firmware upgrade. 

Head back into the Modules screen and make sure the new firmware version is showing on your updated module.
