IGNITE modules have a typical range of 50 to 100m (150 to 300ft), though many phones and tablets can easily reach 200m (600ft) or more.
To get the best range, raise your module at least a foot off the ground. A simple 5-gallon bucket, milk crate, or any small platform works well. The key is maintaining a clear line of sight between your module’s antenna and your phone or tablet.
If you’re not reaching the expected range, try pairing with a different phone or tablet — older devices can sometimes have weaker Bluetooth radios. You can also try swapping antennas if you have another IGNITE module available to see if signal strength improves.
