There are a few ways that you can edit the time of an event in your show. While it is possible to shift a group of events as well, in this support document, we will cover editing individual event times.
For more information on creating a show, please see How to Create a Show in Show Designer.
Changing an event’s time moves it up or down, so if you create your events at 00:00.0s, adjusting them later will drop them to the bottom.

Editing Event Times in the Event Table
Option 1: Set new event time
Click on the Event Time of the event that you want to edit and update the Event Time to the time you want that cue to trigger. Click Change to apply the update.
Option 2: Adjust based on previous event's duration
You can also choose to have the Event Time start after the previous event finishes. This timing is automatically based on the Duration of the effect in the previous event.
For example, in the image below, Event 3 is set to start at 00:40.0s. Event 2 starts at 00:31.0s and has an effect that lasts 31 seconds, meaning it will finish at 1:02.0s. By selecting After previous event, Show Designer will handle this calculation for you. No manual math required!
Option 3: Set time to Playhead position
In the waveform you can control the red Playhead with your mouse. Move your mouse along the waveform to where you'd like to drop the event and then click to place the Playhead. You can see the exact time it's been placed just above the waveform.
To set your Event Time to this time, select Playhead's current position from the New Event Time options. You can see the proposed timing here before clicking Change to update the time.
Editing Event Times on the Waveform
In the waveform, click and drag the event you want to move, and drop it at the point where you’d like the cue to be placed.
