Firing Safety and How to Stop the Show Safely

When it comes to firing your show, it's important to know how to safely and quickly stop your show from continuing to fire.

Warning:

Always handle fireworks connected to a synced module as if they could fire at any moment. Perform continuity checks and complete testing from a safe distance.

Safely Check Igniters

Continuity checks are designed to be completely safe and meet all industry standards, so they shouldn’t ever cause your fireworks to fire — but the risk isn't zero-percent. We believe you should always have control over when those checks take place. This is why we implemented a process to initiate these checks manually and display a safety message before doing so.

Stopping Your Show

After a firework effect starts, it will naturally finish firing on its own. But if you ever need to stop the rest of your show for safety reasons, just tap the red STOP SHOW button on the right side of the Shows screen.

When you press STOP SHOW, a confirmation message appears asking if you’re sure you want to stop the show. To confirm, tap Yes.

Tip:

The STOP SHOW button ends the show entirely. To run it again, you’ll need to restart from the beginning. However, if needed, you can grab the playhead and scrub back to where the show stopped, then press Play to resume firing from that point.

When you tap Yes, the IGNITE app immediately sends a stop command to all connected modules. As this happens, the green Show playing on all modules bar turns red and displays Show stopping, please wait.

Warning:

Make sure you stay within range of your modules during this process. They will not stop triggering cues until they receive the STOP command from your device.
