*You can’t create custom shows in the IGNITE Lite app, but many dealers offer pre-made show codes with their bundles. Check with your local dealer to see what’s available.
What Do I Need?
To use IGNITE Lite, you’ll need the following:
- A phone or tablet with the IGNITE Lite App installed
- An IGNITE Lite module
- Clip-on igniters to connect the module to your fireworks
- Your fireworks or effects
How Does It Work?
The App
After you download the IGNITE Lite app, use it to connect to your module and manually fire your effects. For setup details, see How to Find and Download the IGNITE Lite App.
The Module
The IGNITE Lite module includes 6 cue connections. When the app fires a cue, the module sends a pulse of electricity through the igniter to light the fuse.
You can fire cues manually in the app or, if your dealer provides one, enter a pre-made show code in the IGNITE Lite App to automatically fire a sequence.
What Is a Cue?
A cue is one of the square connections on the module where an igniter connects. Each cue operates independently, meaning firing one cue does not trigger any others.
What’s in the Box?
Every IGNITE Lite module includes:
- 1× module
- 1× package of 7 clip-on igniters
The Igniters
IGNITE Lite uses clip-on igniters, also called “talon” igniters. These are single-use devices that ignite your fireworks by heating a small tungsten coil when fired.
Professional E-Match or fuse-tube igniters are not recommended with IGNITE Lite because they are more sensitive to electrostatic discharge and designed for professional systems.
Avoid moving the clip-on igniter once it’s attached to the fuse. This can damage the coil or reduce ignition reliability. See Igniter Installation Tips and Tricks for more details.
