How To Make a Combined Audio File in IGNITE Show Designer

If your pyromusical uses multiple songs, you’ll need to merge them into one continuous audio track before uploading to IGNITE Show Designer. This guide walks you through combining your songs into a single file using the Audio Studio, so your show plays smoothly from start to finish.

1. Open IGNITE Show Designer

Using Google Chrome, go to designer.ignitefiringsystems.com and log in with your Google or Apple account. Make sure you use the same account used in the IGNITE App.

2. Open the Audio Studio

You can open the Audio Studio from a new show or an existing one.

Creating a new show

1. Click New Show in the menu on the left side of the Show Designer window.
2. Name your show and confirm it will have music by selecting Yes, Select Audio File when prompted.
3. Click Add New to add audio files to your Audio File list.

Editing an existing show

If you already have a show, open it from the My Shows menu, then click the MP3 icon in the bottom-left corner to open the Audio Studio.

3. Create a combined audio file

Once your audio files have been uploaded, click Create Combined Audio File in the Audio Studio.

Tip:

For basic song combining, the built-in Audio Studio works well. However, if you need to trim, crossfade, or adjust volume levels between tracks, we recommend using a free audio editor such as Audacity before uploading your final file to Show Designer.

4. Name and select your tracks

In the Combined File Name field, enter a name for your new track. Then click Add Audio File and select the songs you want to merge from your list. When finished, click Save.

5. Finalize your combined audio

Click Finished. The new combined audio file will be created and added to your Audio List.

6. Add the combined file to your show

Click the Select button next to your new combined audio file. It will now appear in your show’s waveform timeline at the bottom of the window.
