Managing Connections on the Modules Screen

On the Modules screen, you can manage and control several key functions of your IGNITE modules. Here’s a quick look at what you can do.

Pair Your Modules

On the Modules screen, you can connect new firing modules to the IGNITE App. To learn how to pair your modules, please see How to Onboard/Pair an IGNITE module to the IGNITE App.

Change Module Color

You can change your assigned module color from the Modules screen. To learn how to change your module's color, please see How to change the color indicator of my IGNITE Firing Module.

Tip:

If you are preparing to fire an automated show created in IGNITE Show Designer, ensure that you set the color for each module to match the colors used in your show.

Update Module Firmware

If a firmware update is available, you can update your module firmware. To see what this looks like and follow along with a step-by-step, please see Updating the Firmware on your IGNITE i18 and i36 Modules.

Tip:

Your module firmware must be up to date to fire a show. Be sure to check for updates before show time so you’re ready to go. For more prep tips, see How Can I Prepare Before My Show?

Check Connected Igniters for Continuity

You can check your connected igniters for continuity right from the Modules screen. If you’re on app version 6.24+ (Android) or 14.37+ (iOS), you’ll need to run these checks manually. This update is designed to boost safety and give you more visibility into the firing process.
