If you see the message "Error: Event out of bounds," it just means you’re trying to add an event past the end of your show timeline. By default, IGNITE sets your show length to 30 minutes, so any event beyond that will trigger this alert.
If Your Show Has Audio
If you’ve loaded a music track (for example, 3 minutes long), events can only be placed within that 3-minute window. Trying to place events after that point will trigger the "Event Out of Bounds" message.
How to fix it:
Use the Combined Audio feature in IGNITE Show Designer to add silent audio before or after your music track. This increases the total timeline and allows you to place events later in the show. For more details, see How To Make Combined Audio File in IGNITE Show Designer.
If Your Show Has No Audio
If you're building a show without music and simply need a longer timeline, you'll still hit the 30-minute default limit.
How to fix it:
A show can be stretched to go beyond 30 minutes by adding multiple short, silent audio files. This can be done using the Combined Audio feature. Each silent audio file should be no more than 5 minutes in length. Stack them together until you've reached the desired total show length.
