If your IGNITE module isn’t powering up, there are several steps you can take to figure out what’s going on.
- Start by charging the battery. Follow our guide How Do I Charge My IGNITE Module? to learn how to tell when the battery is fully charged.
- If you have another IGNITE module or LiPo battery, swap the batteries to see if that fixes the issue. If you’re swapping the battery from another module, test whether that module can turn on with the same battery. This helps narrow down whether the issue is with the battery or the module itself.
- Don’t have a spare LiPo, or the module still won’t turn on? Remove the LiPo battery and plug in the Emergency 9V Backup Harness instead. This lets you connect a 9V battery for testing.
If the module turns on but flashes red, see My Module Flashes Red Quickly and Turns Off or Continues to Flash.
If you’ve tried all the steps above and the module still won’t turn on—or it only powers on with a 9V battery—please reach out to our support team.
