How does the IGNITE LIVE! subscription work?

IGNITE LIVE! lets you broadcast your show’s music to spectators’ phones through the IGNITE LIVE! app and web player. Show owners need an annual subscription ($69.99/year); listeners can tune in for free.

What you get with a subscription

A single IGNITE LIVE! plan unlocks the following for the subscriber's account:

• Unlimited live audio shows
• Unlimited listeners through the IGNITE LIVE! app and web player per show
• Sync Audio to the IGNITE LIVE! app with shows created in IGNITE Show Designer

Your subscription renews automatically each year on the anniversary of the original purchase date. If you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current annual term.

Why is IGNITE LIVE! a yearly subscription?

Your subscription covers much more than the app itself:

• Music licensing — licensing fees that let your show's soundtrack be legally broadcast to your audience through IGNITE LIVE!
• Streaming infrastructure — dedicated servers keep your audio perfectly synced for unlimited listeners at every show
• Ongoing development — new features and improvements throughout the year

We keep it to one simple plan: annual, with unlimited shows and unlimited listeners included — no per-show charges, no surprise fees.

Warning:

The music license included with IGNITE LIVE! covers only streaming audio to listeners’ own devices through the IGNITE LIVE! app and web player. It does not cover playing your show’s music over a PA or sound system, or broadcasting it on any other medium. You are responsible for any additional licensing those uses require.

Who needs to pay

Only the show owner (the person broadcasting) needs an active IGNITE LIVE! subscription. Listeners do not need a subscription and do not need a paid account to tune in. Guest mode for listeners remains available.

Where to subscribe

Subscriptions are managed through the IGNITE LIVE! dashboard. Simply sign in with the same credentials you use for the IGNITE app, then complete checkout through the dashboard. Billing is processed entirely through the dashboard, not through the App Store or Google Play.

Can I use PYROCAST instead?

No. IGNITE LIVE! replaced PYROCAST in early 2026.

IGNITE LIVE! services were previously offered through PYROCAST as a free beta. It ran this way for approximately two years, with advance notice that it would become a paid service. When it moved to a paid service, we split IGNITE LIVE! off into its own product and name in order to align the service with the IGNITE family of products.

While PYROCAST and IGNITE LIVE! are the same underlying service, shows created for IGNITE can only be broadcast through IGNITE LIVE!; they no longer work with PYROCAST.
