How to Enable SMPTE For Your IGNITE Show

SMPTE timecode lets you perfectly sync your IGNITE show with third-party systems like Light-O-Rama, so all your systems fire together in flawless harmony. Adding SMPTE timecode to your audio file is quick and easy in IGNITE Show Designer. Since SMPTE is turned off by default, you'll want to first follow the below steps to enable it.

How to Enable SMPTE

Step 1: Log into IGNITE Show Designer.

Go to designer.ignitefiringsystems.com and sign in with your Google or Apple account. 

Step 2: Go to Preferences.

Once logged in, locate Preferences in the menu on the left edge of the screen.

Step 3: Go to Account.

In the Preferences window, click on Account tab.

Step 4: Enable SMPTE Support.

In the Account tab, scroll down to the SMPTE Support header. Click on the checkbox Enable SMPTE Support.

You can now add SMPTE to your audio file.
