How to Connect Modules to the IGNITE App

Getting your IGNITE modules connected to the app is quick and easy. Once paired, you’ll have full control right at your fingertips. This guide walks you step-by-step through the process so you can start firing confidently and safely in no time.

Step 1: Power on your module

Press the power button on the top of the module. The front “Burst” light will illuminate, indicating the module is on.

Warning:

When connecting multiple modules for the first time, ensure that only one module is powered on at a time. Connect each module individually.

Step 2: Open the IGNITE app

Navigate to the Modules screen.

Step 3: Tap Add Module

Step 4: Select your module

The app will scan for actively powered modules and display them on screen.

Tip:

Each module’s unique address ID appears below its icon. This ID is paired with a PIN stored on the module’s radio chip to prevent others from controlling your modules during a show.

Step 5: Confirm your PIN

Enter or scan the 4-digit security PIN located inside the battery compartment.

Tip:

Getting an error saying your PIN doesn't match? Double-check your entry — it’s easy to confuse an I for a 1 or an O for a 0. If you're unsure, try scanning the barcode instead.

Step 6: Select a module color

Step 7: Confirm your connection

Your module is now connected to your mobile device! You can view module color, battery level, number of cues, and more.
