Why is this happening, and what does it mean?
This message pops up when your show includes cues assigned to an i36 module, but the app hasn’t detected one paired to your device yet. This is just the app’s way of double-checking that everything’s set up correctly before your show. This safeguard helps prevent firing errors if a module is missing or hasn’t been paired yet.
To fix it, pair your i36 module to your device, and you’ll be ready to fire.
What if I want to test my show, but don’t have an i36 module with me?
If you don’t have an i36 module with you, you can temporarily reassign your cues so that no single module has more than 18. This allows the app to treat those modules as i18s and bypass the i36 requirement for a dry run. Just remember to switch your cue assignments back before your actual show if you plan to use an i36 module.
My show isn't set up with any i36 modules
If you're not planning to use an i36 for this show and are receiving this message, open up your show in IGNITE Show Designer and check out your Module Report. This will show you all the cues used by module, making it easy to identify if an event accidentally ended up with a number higher than 18. You find the steps to accessing your reports in How Do I Print Out Reports and Labels for My Show?
Once you've identified which cue is pushing your modules over the 18 cue limit, simply adjust it, save your show, and sync the changes to your IGNITE app.
I’ve paired an i36 before, but I’m still seeing this message
Try re-pairing your i36 module in the IGNITE app. If the issue continues, contact IGNITE support with your show code and a short description of the problem.
