If your show looks complete in IGNITE Show Designer on your computer, but the IGNITE App on your phone shows fewer cues — a shorter show, or some of your fireworks missing — it is almost always because a module your show uses has not been paired to your device yet.
Why this happens
The IGNITE App builds your show from the modules that are paired to your device. Each module covers a set number of cues: an i18 covers up to 18 cues, and an i36 covers up to 36 cues. When you open a show in the app, it loads the cues for the modules you have connected. If no modules have ever been connected, the app defaults to 18 cues.
If your show includes cues on a module you have not paired yet — for example, an i36 that is not connected — those cues will not be available in the app. That is why the app can show a shorter show, or drop the later part of your show, even though every cue is still there in Show Designer. Depending on your show, you may also see a message that your show requires an i36 module.
How to fix it
Pair every module your show uses, then reopen the show:
- In the IGNITE App, go to the Modules screen.
- Pair each module your show uses. If your show has more than 18 cues on a single module, that module must be an i36 — make sure it is paired. See How to Connect Modules to the IGNITE App.
- Reopen your show. All of your cues will now be there.
How to see which modules your show uses
Not sure which modules your show needs? Open your show in IGNITE Show Designer and check the Module Report — it shows how your cues are split across modules. If any single module has more than 18 cues, you will need an i36 for it. For steps, see Can I Print Out Reports and Labels for My Show?
For a breakdown of the difference between the modules, see Which IGNITE Module Is Right for Me? If you are seeing a message that your show requires an i36, see The IGNITE App Won't Open My Show and Says "Show Requires i36 Modules".
