Can I Use MJGs, e-Match, or Other Professional Igniters With IGNITE?

No, we do not recommend using MJG initiators, e-match, fuse tube, or any other professional igniters with the IGNITE system.

These types of igniters are very sensitive to static electricity, which means they can accidentally fire just from being handled or plugged in. This isn’t a flaw — it’s just how professional igniters are built. They’re made for controlled environments with special processes and protection that most people at home don’t have.

IGNITE was designed to be a safe and easy-to-use firing system for consumers, especially those new to e-firing. Because of that, we recommend using only IGNITE-approved consumer safety igniters.

Using professional igniters with IGNITE can be dangerous and is not supported by IGNITE.
