Will My Show Fire if I'm Out of Bluetooth Range?

Yes! You can fire your show even beyond the range of your phone, tablet, or the IGNITE system. For example, if your device reaches 200 ft but you need to go 400 ft, simply enable the option for modules to keep firing out of range. When you’re ready to stop the show, move back within range and end it directly from the app. It’s simple and seamless.
 

Tip:

This feature is only supported during automated shows.

Step 1: Open the IGNITE App and tap Shows.

Step 2: Select the show you want to fire.

Locate your show and tap it to reveal the available options. When ready, tap Fire Show.

Tip:

Before firing your show, select Prep Show to ensure all igniters are connected correctly. For more information, see How to Prep your Show.

Step 3: Start your show.

Once all modules are ready, tap Start Show. If your modules show as Offline or Missing, follow the steps in Help, My IGNITE App Doesn’t Show Modules Ready when Firing an Automated Show .

Step 4: Choose what happens when you're out of range.

The app prompts you to choose whether to stop or continue firing when your device goes out of range. Tap Continue Firing to keep your show running.

Step 5: Fire your show by tapping Fire My Show.

You can now relax and enjoy the show without worrying if your device loses connection with the modules.

Warning:

Being out of range of your unit prevents you from manually firing cues while the show is running .
