What is the Difference Between the IGNITE App and IGNITE BOOST App?

IGNITE BOOST is currently in BETA testing, 
and will be fully released at a future date.

The IGNITE app is used to connect and fire your i18 and i36 modules. The IGNITE BOOST app is used instead once you have an IGNITE BOOST and firing modules connected to it.

Which app you use depends on whether your modules have ever been connected to IGNITE BOOST. The first time a module connects to the IGNITE BOOST app, it goes through a firmware update that converts it to only support IGNITE BOOST app connections going forward.

Once you've switched to the IGNITE BOOST App, you'll no longer use the IGNITE App to fire your shows. All your fireworks and shows from the IGNITE App and IGNITE Show Designer will carry over to the IGNITE BOOST App — just make sure you're logged in using the same sign-in method.

So:

• If your modules have never been used with IGNITE BOOST, keep using the IGNITE app.
• If your modules have been connected to IGNITE BOOST — even once — you must use the IGNITE BOOST app from then on, regardless of whether you're using the BOOST accessory for that particular show.
