Can I Use My Existing IGNITE Modules with IGNITE BOOST?

IGNITE BOOST is currently in BETA testing, 
and will be fully released at a future date.

Yes — after installing the IGNITE BOOST app, and connecting your BOOST to your mobile device,, your IGNITE BOOST app will be set to connect and fire your i18s and/or i36s.

Before you pair: Once you pair an existing i18 or i36 with a BOOST, you'll be required to install a firmware upgrade to support the new connection type. This upgrade is not reversible — your module will no longer work in the standard IGNITE App, even when you're not using your BOOST for a show.

Once paired, firing is done through the IGNITE BOOST app only; the BOOST device itself doesn't need to be powered on to fire, but the module can no longer fall back to the standard app's connection type.
