Yes, you still need to maintain line-of-sight between your mobile device and firing modules.
BOOST is a signal booster, not a relay. It increases the total range between you and your modules up to 650ft (200m) as well as improving firing accuracy to within 0.1s, accomplishing both from your end of the connection.
