Step-by-Step
Step 1: Launch IGNITE Show Designer.
Using Google Chrome, go to designer.ignitefiringsystems.com and log in with your Google or Apple account. Make sure you use the same account as in the IGNITE App.
Step 2: Create a show file.
Click New Show in the menu on the left side of the Show Designer window, then enter a name for your show.
Step 3: Choose whether your show includes audio.
For more information on adding music to your show, see How to Add Audio to a Show in Show Designer.
Step 4: Add your first event.
Click the Add Timed Event button at the bottom of the screen to add a blank event to the event table.
Step 5: Set the event time.
Click the Event Time field to change when the cue fires, or click and drag the event on the timeline to adjust its time.
Step 6: Assign a module and cue to the event.
Assign your event to a module color that matches those set during the Module Onboarding process. For help onboarding modules or changing colors, see How to Onboard/Pair an IGNITE Module to the IGNITE App and How to Change the Color Indicator of My IGNITE Firing Module.
Step 7: Assign a name or firework to the event.
You can manually type a name for the event or choose a Firework from your My Fireworks list on the right side of the Show Designer window. If you don’t have fireworks in your catalog yet, see How to Add Fireworks to My Fireworks in IGNITE Show Designer.
Step 8: Apply duration, pre-fire, and lift time (optional).
Duration shows how long a firework lasts in the sky. Pre-Fire Time allows time for the fuse to burn so the effect bursts at the right moment, and Lift Time refers to how long it takes the firework to reach the sky before bursting.
Step 9: Add more events.
Continue adding events by clicking Add Timed Event and repeating steps 5 through 8 to complete your show design.
Step 10: Import your show into the IGNITE App.
After you finish building your show, import it into the IGNITE App. For detailed steps, see How to Import a Show into the IGNITE App.
